We had to go through a series of trials. Some of us succeeded, but... I didn't. I made the wrong choice. And because of it, I ended up getting possessed and forced to fight the others.

Nina and Iwatooshi. They went through the trials with us.

Did they also get as messed up as you both did?

Nina got really badly burnt. [which is, haha. fun. considering last week.] And Iwatooshi lost too much blood. I know they're not exactly "alive," but I'm still worried about them.

Maybe they have better healing over there? [ she hopes ] They didn't seem to have the wounds from their deaths...

... Maybe it's just impossible for them to stay injured?
