It's been a lot of fun and a lot of trials. I can't remember how many times I crashed my broom before I got it to work.

An actual princess, but not the best example of one. I gave up my claim to the throne to work on my dreams.

Do you have stories of magic in your world?

Yes. There are many who believe in magic and fairies and the like...

I suppose I've seen some things that could be considered as such, too.

It's something like that. There's magic, spirits, and monsters in my world.

What have you seen?

Shadows are able to use powers that utilize soot in various ways. Everyone seems to have a different power.

It's a little like magic, I think.

It is beautiful, but the spirits don't seem to like me very much.

They don't? I don't know anything about spirits... Is that a problem?

Yeah, it's a big problem. You can only use magic if you are able to communicate with the spirits.

Oh... I'm sorry. That must be difficult. Is there any way to earn their trust...?

I have spent years researching all I could about it and haven't found a way to. I do hope some day I can, but until then I have my magicology.

I can't hear the spirits, but I can still use spirit stones in an engine to make things like my flying broom or a kettle that boils water.

That's very resourceful of you. Do many people practice magicology where you're from?
