No, you need to be born a sorcerer. There are sorcerer clans, but some of those bloodlines have thinned and not many sorcerers are born into those families anymore.

I came from a normal family though. As far as I know, sometimes in the smaller towns people don't even realize they're sorcerers because there aren't as many cursed spirits.

No, there's probably only a couple hundred sorcerers in all of Japan.

It's tough, but it won't be a problem soon, since Satoru used his wish to get rid of cursed energy.

What are you going to use yours for?

Originally, I was thinking of being able to use magic without my tools and weapons.

Now, I want to use it to be able to see everyone again.

[turbulency]

Like a reunion?

Reunion or even a way to visit. It might be selfish, but I really want people to be able to see each other after this.

But... are you sure there isn't something you want for your world?

I thought about it. There's so much I could change with a simple wish. Like in the future, Alu could be reinstated or maybe I could change the events of what happened in my world.

It would feel like escaping my responsibility though or taking the easy way out. I already disappointed them all, and I want to do what I can to make them proud.

Why does making things easier for yourself mean shirking your duty?

As long as you do the right thing. You're using the wish you earned from enduring this place. None of this was easy.
