It means she gets credit for my inventions. She also gets to help test things out and become the face for Magicology. I'm not popular with a lot of the old traditionalists, so she's been pretty helpful there.

Guess that's not so bad then. [hum.] But what exactly is Magicology?

[marauderprincess]

It's combining technology with spirit stones to make magical tools or weapons.

[residentflorist]

Sounds pretty impressive. And a little like how our materia works, I guess. How long have you been an inventor?

[marauderprincess]

That's the stuff Yuffie wants, right?

[ She taps her chin ]

It's only been a few years since I started making things, but I was trying to figure out how to make a broom fly since I was little.

[residentflorist]

That's right. It's how we use magic where we're from. [there's a grin.] That sounds pretty ambitious of you. It can't have been easy figuring out how to make it work and control it.

[marauderprincess]

[ that's similar to her! ]

It really wasn't. At first, I went about it really stupidly thinking I could actually fly on a broom without doing anything.

Then I eventually figured out about spirit stones and what I could do with them.

[residentflorist]

So it sounds to me that a lot of what it is is about finding the right combination and getting the results, right? So you could do just about anything with the right stones.

[marauderprincess]

[ that and also she literally was just hopping out of windows with just a broom and rope like a dumbass at first ]

Yeah! I've been working on flying machines next. I took down a dragon not that long ago and we'll be using what's left for that.

[residentflorist]

[girl help.]

—a dragon? [wait what.] How did you take down a whole dragon? I can't imagine that's a small feat.

[she's really just asking because she's curious and she thinks it's nice to let her talk about her inventions for as long as she feels like it.]

[marauderprincess]

[ sometimes you're stupid before you're smart ]

It was actually because of Euphy that I could take it down. She let me know where to strike and then helped keep me safe while I did the final strike.

[residentflorist]

That makes sense. A team effort. [actually yes that does make a lot more sense.] I'm glad you have each other for that kind of support. It's always easier with at least one other person.

[marauderprincess]

I am pretty lucky to have her. [ 10/10 would kidnap again ] Have you encountered anything really impressive like that?

[residentflorist]

Like a dragon? [she thinks about this...] Well. I think a lot of the things I've seen lately are pretty impressive. There's a whole world out there full of different places and animals and nature. We've fought some pretty big monsters though! At least twenty times our size.

[marauderprincess]

That sounds amazing. What has been your favorite place you've seen on your travels?

[residentflorist]

Hm...guess it depends on what we were looking for at the time. [also all of their relaxing places still ended up bad for various reasons, but it's fine.] Maybe Costa del Sol? We got to spend a little time at the beach. Or the Gold Saucer! It's a pretty big amusement park, but both places can be pretty crowded.

It's been a long time since I've been to an amusement park. Did you get to go on a lot of rides?

[residentflorist]

Just the one, really. We spent more time exploring or playing some of the games and checking out some of the other attractions. We even got to attend a show. It was...nice. I don't think most of us had ever been to someplace like that before.
