You see, it looks like an astrolabe, but the stars it charts aren't familiar to me. And that seems like a Divination Rod, but it's pointing in all the wrong directions ...
I would imagine so. Have you tried to practice magic at all? It was described to me as not being ... erased, exactly, but more stopped. A cork in a bottle.

Something like that. I use a workaround with spirit stones to call magic and I implement them into weapons and tools. The little blade I carry around usually forms a blade of light magic that I can manipulate.
